Frequency of use

Almost half the respondents to the survey reported they use the portal on a weekly (40%) or daily basis (7%). Another fifth of users reported using it monthly. On average, respondents to the French survey used the portal less frequently than English and Spanish respondents (although the French sample is small and difficult to generalize from, the small sample is itself an indicator of lower use).

This is very comparable to the frequency of use of respondents to an online survey of the FAO web site in 2004, where 67% of 2600 respondents reported using the FAO web site on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
