IPFSAPH portal user survey summary
Participants were asked to rate a number of statements regarding the quality of information and ease of locating information on the portal. There were no notable differences among the different language versions.
These responses indicate the area where improvement is most needed is in the ease of locating information. This is currently being addressed through improved topic pages, as well as other features in search results pages and an additional A-Z site map.
The question that received the most positive response is “The information is up-to-date and accurate.” This is consistent with the portal’s policy of high quality control by including information only from competent standard setting bodies (in contrast to search engines which are all inclusive).
While more than half of respondents agree with the statement “There is a lot of information in my area of interest that I find valuable” and almost 40% partially agree, this issue will continue to be improved with the addition of more information from national governments and other relevant organizations.
